Our Local Church

“And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.”Acts 2:42

As members of Christ’s body, we talk, eat, share and fellowship with one another. After worship is a time of great encouragement as many weeks we become the “church that won’t go home.”

Each Sunday of the month, there is a pot luck lunch following the morning service and each Wednesday night we gather together for dinner, time of fellowship, prayer and singing of praise to God.

On the fourth and fifth Sundays of the month many IMG_20130324_160159of us join the elders at a local nursing home to minister to the aged and infirm. We sing psalms with them, pray for their specific needs, and Pastor gives a brief lesson from the Bible to encourage them and teach us all about the Lord.

After fellowship lunch we have a time of instruction. The adults will be workOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAing through the Larger Catechism and the children are currently working through the children’s catechism.
